The Skills Academy is a twice-per-week program open to all players currently participating in U9-12 Developmental Force teams.
It's designed to introduce our young players to the St Charles Force development pathway. These sessions will be linked to the Canadian Soccer Association’s Long Term Player Development program, with the focus being on becoming technically proficient in an environment where players are encouraged to take risks and express themselves.
Each session will concentrate on the fundamental skills that players need to advance themselves in the game, time will be spent each session on physical literacy along with breaking down and teaching the detail in each technique.
All coaches used will be LTPD licensed and higher. Lead coach is our TD Malcolm Mitchell, Canadian A license coach.
